Our Talented Team
Paula was born in Redding, California and moved to Washington State at the age of 11. She attended Cascade High School and obtained an A.A.S. degree from Everett Community College.
Paula has worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Kellogg for 19 years and now works as the front desk receptionist and treatment plan coordinator. She is married to her husband Ted and together they have three kids; Thomas, Kurtis, and Katie. She is a Leo and would describe herself as loyal, charitable, and majestic.
One of her favorite aspects of working for Silver Lake Dental Arts is having long-term relationships with patients. She’s witnessed several patients start out as young adults and then come back with their own children.
Kim has been in the dental practice for 40 years and has worked with Silver Lake Dental Arts since 1996. She is the treatment plan coordinator and loves to make patients feel comfortable and calm during their visit.
Kim grew up in Marysville and now lives in the Everett Area. She has 4 granddaughters – Olivia, Georgia, and two young twins Jamieson and Ireland. She loves to spend time spoiling them, shopping, cooking, and gardening.
Her life philosophy is to always help those in need and she prides herself on all the relationships she’s established in the office. She feels that when patients come in it feels more like a social visit rather than a regular check up.
Stephanie has been with our office for over a decade years as an employee, but she’s been a part of the Silver Lake Dental Arts family since she was 5 years old and a patient. She prides herself on her ability to make her patients’ cleanings as painless and enjoyable as possible. She knows she’s done her job well when patients request to see her again. When she’s not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids – Kaleb is 4 and Aubrey is 2 years old. They all love to camp, travel, and especially scuba dive.
Born and raised in the Midwest, Debbie developed an interest in her profession after working in a dental office in high school. She has now worked with Dr. Kellogg and Samia since 1990, and continues to provide her patients with high quality, personal, and gentle care. She love to hear patients say that her work has really helped them. Her favorite indulgence is Hawaii, and she loves spending time with her dogs, friends, and husband.
Janaia is a Washington native and true Washingtonian. She has worked in dentistry for over 14 years – first as a dental assistant before completing her studies to become a hygienist 2009. She has been a patient of Silver Lake Dental Arts since she was 5 years old, and her experience as a patient inspired her to pursue a career in dentistry. She is so happy to be working with people with whom she has such fond memories.
Janaia and her husband Jesse and kids, Kade and Corinne, enjoy spending time on Whidbey Island. She also loves keeping up with the kids' sports and activities including ballet, soccer, swimming, football and especially wrestling.
Theresa has been a dental hygienist in our office since 2015. She is a Washington native and has lived most of her life in Snohomish County. She grew up in a dental family and has been working in dental offices since she was 16. When she’s not at the office she’s spending time with her husband, two kids, and dog. They love to be outdoors together, ski in the winter, and go for bike rides in the summer. Theresa also loves to read, garden, and root for her favorite teams – the Seahawks and the Mariners.
Tonya has worked for Silver Lake since 2003. She most enjoys the appreciation that patients express for the work she has done to improve their smile or ease their discomfort. Her favorite sweet indulgence is chocolate, she loves a good joke or funny movie, and she enjoys spending time with good friends and family.
Char was born and raised in Washington and attended Edmonds High School. She has a son, Brett, and daughter, Shanlee.
Char was influenced by her best friend to enter into a dental assisting program. She is a dental assistant at Silver Lake Dental Arts and has been since 1992. She enjoys helping people and knows that she has done her job well when they express their comfort after an appointment.
Sarah has been a dental assistant since 2004 and started with our office in 2013. Sarah is compassionate, gentle, and always goes above and beyond to make her patients comfortable. She is originally from Northern California but has also lived abroad in Germany.
When she’s not at the office Sarah loves spending time outdoors, swimming, and with her husband and young daughter.
Katie was born and raised in Washington. She was influenced by her wife to achieve her goal of becoming a Dental Assistant. Katie studied at Everest College and fit so well in the office she was hired as soon as she graduated. Before her training Katie was no stranger to our practice – Dr. Kellogg has been her dentist since the age of 3! It is important for Katie to show her patients the same comfort and care that she experienced as a patient. Katie enjoys spending time with her family and being an aunt to her several nieces and nephews. She can’t wait to have children of her own someday.
Melissa is from the Bothell/Mill Creek area and has been in the dental field for 11 years. She joined our practice in 2016 and brings a constant positive attitude and friendliness to all her patients’ appointments. Her favorite part of working in the dental field is getting to know her patients and ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease. Outside of the office Melissa loves the outdoors, anything Disney related, and staying actively involved with the North Queens Drill Team. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids travelling, performing in/attending parades, or relaxing at home.
