COVID-19

Enhanced Disinfection and Safety

We have always and always will continue to follow the most strict and rigorous disinfection and sterilization protocols for our practice. We have been highly trained in infection control, and our entire team has been attending additional training on enhanced infection control procedures during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Here’s a few things we’ve changed in our office for the safety of our staff and patient family

  • UV air scrubbers have been installed in our entire building heating/cooling system. They clean the air and are estimated to turn over the air in our building over 11x per hour

  • In the front office we’ve removed all “touchables.” Magazines, toys, etc will not be available in the waiting room. This also means we will not be serving coffee, tea, or cocoa for a while, which is probably better for your teeth anyway!

  • We’ve put up temporary clear barriers in front of our incredible receptionists. You will see some spots marked on the carpet for a line to speak with them as needed.

  • Our waiting room chairs are spaced 6 feet apart and will be minimally used (see further info on checking into the office). The fish will miss your company.

  • We will be spraying and wiping commonly touched surface in common areas multiple times per day

  • We will continue to disinfect our dental operatories before and after every patient, and sterilize all instruments after each use.

  • In the back we will be using a loud vacuum called a high volume suction for every appointment. While we already used them for all filling appointments, our office has added different attachments for this suction for different procedures with your hygienists and dentists. They might look and feel a little weird at first but they will keep the air in our operatories significantly cleaner!

  • In the back you will also see us in some extra personal protective equipment (PPE) including high filtering masks and face shields.
